A Photographic Tour of Stanford "Farm"


Stanford University (also known by its full name: Leland Stanford Junior University) is one of the most prestigious universities in the US. It was founded in 1891 AD by Californian railway tycoon Leland Stanford in memory of his son. It used to be Stanford's family farm before it was turned into an education institution. Its fame has certainly surpassed as just a university since it is also regarded as the cradle of the "Silicon Valley" and a hotbed for high-tech incubation.
